Thank you to our firefighters for their work to protect our communities from the Madre Fire. The Madre fire has burned over 80,000 acres and is currently listed as the largest wildfire of the year. This wildfire is a stark reminder of how quickly disaster strikes.

Thank you to everyone who joined me and Assemblymember Bennett for the Senior Scam Stoppers event in Ventura. Scams are a fast-growing form of financial abuse that especially targets seniors and adults with disabilities.

Team Limón had the opportunity to attend the inaugural U.S. Latina GDP report at Oxnard College! It was great to hear about the vital role Latinas play in our economy, communities, and country.

In celebration of International Women’s Day I had the pleasure of attending the Mariachi Girl show put on by Ánimo Theatre Company alongside Mariachi Inlakech at Pacifica High School in Oxnard.

Team Limón and I had a great time visiting our local Black History Month events. Black History Month is a reminder of the impact the Black community has had on the Central Coast and our country.

A medida que continuamos experimentando condiciones climaticas sin precedentes en la Costa Central, es importante que usted y su familia estén preparados para incendios forestales y otros desastres naturales. Por favor, revise los recursos y guías a continuación.
