From the Desk of Senator Limón

Today we honor and celebrate all those who have served our country. Veterans Day in our district is especially important, as we are home to over 40,000 veterans. Thank you for serving our country. We hope today you feel just how appreciated you are for the sacrifices you and your families have made to protect our freedoms and democracy.

November is the season of giving. As the American Red Cross is in urgent need of blood donors, I am hosting a blood drive to help meet the needs of our community. If you have the ability, please consider participating on Monday, November 13th.

Your donation could help save a life this holiday season. To register, please click here.

In 2019 I authored The Outdoor Equity Grants Program, which offers $50 million in grant funding for nature-based outdoor programs.

Hello Friends,

Please join some of my legislative colleagues and I, along with the Department of Financial Protection and Innovation, to learn more about the recent SCOTUS decision on student loan forgiveness and important deadlines and updates on student loan debt. This session will equip you with the latest news and tools to navigate the resumption of repayment plans.

I hope your summer is off to a great start. Team Limón has been engaged in district events, meetings in our capitol and district offices, and graduation nights. Last month the State Legislature also passed the California State Budget.

Attention small business owners. The USC Center for Economic Development (CED) will hold a free online workshop and bring together representatives from government, financial institutions, mission-based lenders, and philanthropic organizations to discuss how small businesses and manufacturers, and especially minority- and women-owned businesses can access capital.
