Thank you to the Quilt Project Gold Coast for including my office in this year’s memorial quilt! Their mission to create and display AIDS Memorial Quilts in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties to raise awareness of HIV/AIDS is truly one of the best ways we can memorialize all whom we have lost to HIV/AIDs. Thank you for serving our community.

Last month, I had the chance to join Assemblymember Bauer-Kahan, Halle Berry, and women’s health care professionals to show support for the Menopause Care Equity Act. This bill will help us correct the inequities we so often see in our healthcare system in regards to menopause care and create a model for other states to follow. Proud to stand with these women in support of this bipartisan California Legislative Women's Caucus priority bill.

Senator Limón’s Office attends the Goleta Lemon Festival and Port Hueneme Banana Festival

As always, this year’s Banana Festival at Port Hueneme and the Lemon Festival in Goleta bring pride to the Central Coast. Did you know that the Port of Hueneme imports an estimated 5 billion bananas annually, making it a leading U.S. port for banana trade? Also, Did you know that Goleta is the home of the first known commercial lemon orchard in California? Kickstarting California’s history as the number one producer of lemons in the country.
