Another great year serving the Central Coast is coming to a close and I want to take a moment to thank you for your continued support. Together, we have grown our list of accomplishments, celebrated milestones, and invested in our community. In 2025, I look forward to connecting both in the district and in Sacramento on priorities important to our region and Californians.
It is my honor to serve Ventura, Santa Barbara and now parts of San Luis Obispo Counties.
Wishing you happy holidays and a safe and prosperous new year,
Senator Monique Limón
Representing Senate District 21

New year, New Number!
Please note, our senate district number is now 21. This means we have a few changes to our contact information and resources. Please take note of the changes below.
On December 2nd in Sacramento, I was sworn in alongside a historic number of women legislators. Following the recent election this is the first time in state history that women have reached parity in either house of the legislature. In addition, this is the closest women have been to reaching parity across both houses – making up 59 of the 120 legislative seats.
It is my honor to serve as the Vice Chair of the largest cohort of the bipartisan California Legislative Women’s Caucus. Women in our state have strong champions in their State Legislature and it was my honor to congratulate our newest members on the Senate Floor during the swearing-in ceremony.
