Appointments Workshop with Senator Monique Limón
Are you interested in serving your community and the state of California? Do you have an expertise in a particular subject area? The Governor appoints individuals to serve in both full and part-time positions on boards and commissions to advise on public policy and act on a wide range of subjects.
This workshop will focus on the importance of gubernatorial appointments, the types of boards and commissions California is supported by, and most importantly, what the next steps are in order to be considered for a board or commission. Presentation by Cathryn Rivera-Hernandez, Appointments Secretary to Governor Gavin Newsom.
