Happy Women’s History Month. Women's History Month is held on March annually to celebrate the contributions of women to our communities.



The beginning of the year is a time for new and renewed beginnings. For the State Legislature, January also means returning to Sacramento for the second year of this legislative session.



Happy November - For many of us, this is the time of the year when we are reminded how fast time flies. November is as a month of gratitude and recognition. For starters, November is Native American Heritage Month, a time to remember and bring awareness of Native American history.



It is officially fall as we feel the crisp air in the mornings. Last month, the Legislature adjourned for the rest of the year, and I have been in the district, attending community events, and enjoying having fruitful conversations with many.
