Viva el Arte de Santa Barbara

I was honored to help celebrate 20 years of Viva el Arte in Santa Barbara last month by attending the Rio Grande Folklore Ballet. Viva el Arte has served our community by providing artistic experiences for all with the goal of strengthening ties to our Latino roots.

Grand Opening of the Paws Wellness Center

The Thelma Bedell Elementary STREAM Academy in Santa Paula celebrated the opening of the Pause, Awareness, Wellness, and Support Center. This site will serve as a space thoughtfully designed to care for the whole child by offering students a calm corner for emotional regulation and mental health well-being. Congratulations, Bulldogs.

We helped celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Santa Barbara Independent last month. The Independent is a community staple and has been one of the primary providers of local news in Santa Barbara County since its inception. Happy Birthday, Santa Barbara Independent!
