California Senate Leader Monique Limón Celebrates District 21 Women of the Year Honorees

Earlier this week, pro Tempore Monique Limón honored eleven women at the annual Women of the Year celebration held during Women’s History Month. The honorees were chosen for their hard work and dedication to supporting Senate District 21. They contribute to the protection of children, the preservation of art, and climate conservation, among other efforts.

“As the leader of the California State Senate, it is my honor to celebrate our Women of the Year for Senate District 21,” said pro Tempore Monique Limón. “Our honorees are key members of their communities and often do the unseen work to keep their organizations running. I am proud to bring that work into the spotlight. I congratulate this cohort on their achievements and their commitment to improving our district.”
