Statement from Senator Monique Limón on the Shocking Violence Against Minnesota Lawmakers

SANTA BARBARA - Senator Monique Limón released the following statement on the violent political attacks in Minnesota.
"My heart and prayers are with the families of Minnesota Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman and Senator John Hoffman who were targeted in an act of political violence.
When violence such as this begins to take hold we must take a step back and look at where we are headed as a community, as a country, and as a democracy.
I am calling on all of us to please lead with peace in these fraught times - the world needs it now more than ever."
